  18. firm based in New York City specializing in the use of object-oriented and
  19. client-server technologies. We provide innovative software solutions for
  20. financial institutions and other businesses. We are enlarging our staff due to
  21. an influx of new business and seek employees that match the following
  22. profiles:

  24. 1) Two senior managers
  25.   - BSCC or equivalent, MS preferred
  26.   - 7 to 9 years of software engineering experience
  27.   - Mastery of object-oriented design and development techniques
  28.   - Mastery of client-server techniques
  29.   - Extensive knowledge and ability using C++ and other object-oriented
  30. languages
  31.   - Extensive knowledge of UNIX
  32.   - Extensive knowledge of Sybase, both the Open Client library (API) as well
  33. as the server. Knowledge of other RDBMS products in commercial use a plus
  34.   - Good working knowledge with GUIs including Motif
  35.   - Knowledge of the financial business a strong plus
  36.   - Good working knowledge of NeXTstep a strong plus
  37.   - Consulting experience preferred, especially technical leadership and
  38. account management

  40. 2) Five senior software engineers/consultants
  41.   - BSCC or equivalent
  42.   - 3 to 5 years of software engineering experience
  43.   - Good working knowledge of object-oriented design and development
  44. techniques
  45.   - Good working knowledge of client-server techniques
  46.   - Good working knowledge of C++
  47.   - Good working knowledge of UNIX
  48.   - Good working knowledge of Motif (OpenLook experience a plus)
  49.   - Good working knowledge of the Sybase Open Client library (API)
  50.   - Good working knowledge of NeXTstep a strong plus
  51.   - Consulting experience a strong plus
  52.   - Knowledge of the financial business a strong plus

  54. 3) Two NeXTstep software engineers
  55.   - BSCC or equivalent
  56.   - More than a year's experience with NEXTSTEP application development
  57.   - Extensive knowledge of the NeXTstep appkit
  58.   - Good working knowledge of Objective C
  59.   - Good working knowledge of UNIX
  60.   - Experience with the Sybase Open Client library (API) and other commercial
  61. RDBMS application programming a strong plus
  62.   - Knowledge of C++ a plus

  64. 4) A UNIX system administrator
  65.   - BSCC or equivalent
  66.   - Significant experience with heterogeneous UNIX network environments
  67.   - Good working knowledge of UNIX system administration tools
  68.   - Commercial RDBMS installation and maintenance
  69.   - Significant experience with hardware purchasing, installation,
  70. configuration and maintenance
  71.   - Good working knowledge of NeXTstep a strong plus
  72.   - C, C++ or Objective C experience a plus
